SKÁLD releases second single “Himinbjǫrg” ahead of new album

French neofolk band SKÁLD has released “Himinbjǫrg”, the second single from their upcoming album, Ørlǫg. The drum-driven track is inspired by Norse mythology, specifically the castle of Himinbjǫrg where the guardian Heimdall watches over the rainbow bridge, Bifröst.

The new album, Ørlǫg, is scheduled for release on September 25, 2026, via Napalm Records. It will feature ten new songs exploring themes of ancient destiny, origins, and the consequences of human choices.
