Skáld to release new album Ørlǫg via Napalm Records

French neofolk band Skáld is set to release their new full-length album, Ørlǫg, on September 25, 2026, via Napalm Records. The release marks the band's first partnership with the label.

In anticipation of the album, the group has released the single “Dǫkksalir,” accompanied by a lyric video. The track is described as having melodies reminiscent of a lullaby, themed around the concept of sirens in the dark sea. The upcoming album features ten new songs and explores themes of ancient spirits and the cosmic web of fate.

Following the release, Skáld will embark on an autumn arena tour across the United Kingdom and Europe, providing support for the band The Hu, starting in Glasgow on September 29.
