Skoda begins mass production of flagship Peaq electric SUV

Skoda has commenced mass production of its largest and most advanced all-electric SUV to date, the Peaq, at its Mladá Boleslav plant in the Czech Republic. The seven-seater flagship is being manufactured on a flexible production line that also accommodates the Elroq, Enyaq, and the internal combustion Octavia.

The Peaq features a 91 kWh battery, providing a driving range of over 640 kilometers. It offers various power options ranging from 150 kW to 220 kW, with choices between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The vehicle's design incorporates the brand's new 'Modern Solid' aesthetic and focuses on high aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.249 Cd.

To accommodate the Peaq's dimensions, which include a length of 4,874 mm and a wheelbase of 2,965 mm, the Mladá Boleslav facility underwent technical revisions. These updates included improvements to the press, body, paint, and third-row seat assembly areas to enhance ergonomics and production efficiency.
