Skoda expands Indian vehicle lineup with Kylaq and Kodiaq RS
Skoda is expanding its vehicle lineup in India with the introduction of the Kylaq and the Kodiaq RS.
The Kylaq is a sub-4-metre compact SUV designed for the Indian market, featuring a 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The model includes new trims such as Classic+ and Prestige+, along with features like an electric sunroof and a 10-inch touchscreen.
Additionally, the Skoda Kodiaq RS has arrived in India as a limited-run, CBU-imported performance SUV. It is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine delivering 265 PS and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. The Kodiaq RS is priced at Rs 66.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.
