Skoda launches Kylaq Sportline SUV in India
Skoda has launched the Kylaq Sportline variant in India, positioned between the Signature+ and Prestige trims. The new model is priced starting at Rs 11.32 lakh for the manual version and Rs 12.32 lakh for the automatic version (ex-showroom).
The Sportline trim focuses on aesthetic and equipment enhancements rather than mechanical changes. It retains the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 115hp and 178Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic.
Visual updates include a blacked-out theme featuring 17-inch alloy wheels, black ORVMs, a dual-tone roof, and blacked-out Skoda branding. The interior also adopts a darker theme with black dashboard and door trims, leatherette seats with contrast stitching, aluminium pedals, and ambient lighting. Standard features include an electric sunroof, wireless charging, a 25.6cm touchscreen, and a 20.32cm Virtual Cockpit. The vehicle maintains its 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating and includes six airbags.
