Skoda Peaq electric SUV sets 936 km range record

The Skoda Peaq electric SUV has achieved a range of 936 km on a single charge during a controlled test drive. Two employees traveled from Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic, through Germany to Zandvoort, Netherlands, completing the journey without recharging.

The record was achieved under optimized conditions, including a precisely planned route without inclines, constant speeds, low-rolling-resistance tires on 19-inch rims, and an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.249. The average energy consumption during the test was 9.2 kWh/100 km.

While the test demonstrated high efficiency, the manufacturer notes that real-world performance will differ. The vehicle has a WLTP-rated range of 647 km, with expected real-world highway ranges between 450-500 km in summer and 350-400 km in winter.
