Skoda releases free 3D-printable accessory files for vehicle owners

Skoda, a Czech brand under the Volkswagen Group, has launched an initiative allowing customers to download free digital files to 3D-print various car accessories at home. The files are hosted on the Printables.com platform and are designed by the company’s engineers and designers.

The available projects include practical organizational items such as cupholders, phone brackets, cable organizers, coin boxes, and hooks designed for unused ISOFIX anchor points. Some model-specific solutions are also included, such as an adapter for the Fabia model and specific components for the upcoming Peaq and Epiq electric SUVs.

Skoda states that this approach aligns with its ‘Simply Clever’ philosophy of providing small, functional features to improve daily driving. By providing digital files, the automaker aims to bypass traditional tooling, inventory, and production lead times. The initiative covers a range of vehicles, including current models, discontinued models, and future electric vehicles.
