Skoda Slavia facelift unveiled in India with new features

Skoda Auto India has officially unveiled the 2026 Slavia facelift, marking a significant mid-cycle refresh for the popular midsize sedan. The update introduces several aesthetic and mechanical improvements designed to compete with rivals such as the Honda City and Hyundai Verna.

Exterior changes include a revised front fascia with a new grille, redesigned bumpers, updated LED headlights with a new DRL signature, and new 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear has also been updated with new LED tail lights featuring sequential turn indicators.

Inside, the cabin receives refinements such as improved material finishes, a dual-tone theme, and a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. A notable mechanical update is the introduction of an 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission for the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, while the 1.5-litre TSI engine continues to use the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Pre-bookings for the new model have opened, with ten color options available, including new shades Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige.
