Skolim faces backlash for performing explicit songs around children

A video of disco polo singer Skolim performing a song containing sexual allusions and profanity in the presence of children has sparked significant backlash on social media. The footage shows the artist, who has continued performing despite a recent injury, singing lyrics with explicit content while surrounded by children on stage.

Comedian Mariusz Kałamaga criticized the performance, labeling it a “patotwór” (pathological creation) and questioning the responsibility of parents. Other public figures, including Majka Jeżowska and Karolina Skiba, also expressed outrage, with Jeżowska criticizing the audience for consuming such content and Skiba questioning the role of parents in these settings. This is not the first time the artist has faced controversy regarding his repertoire during events intended for children.
