Skopje Air Fair 2026 promotes aviation careers in North Macedonia

The sixth edition of the Skopje Air Fair 2026 took place at the City Park in Skopje, organized by the Avicon Association for Better Aviation. The event aimed to introduce the public, particularly students and young people, to educational and career opportunities within the aviation industry.

Participants had the opportunity to interact with representatives from various airlines, aviation academies, and professional associations. Featured exhibitors included TAV Macedonia, Wizz Air, the European Aviation Institute from Romania, the Aviation Academy from Belgrade, Global Aviation from Greece, and Global Maintenance from Bulgaria. Local institutions such as the General Mihailo Apostolski Military Academy and the Ministry of Internal Affairs also participated, showcasing the ‘Jastrebi’ helicopter unit.

The fair focused on breaking stereotypes regarding the accessibility of aviation professions, highlighting roles ranging from pilots and air traffic controllers to engineers and meteorologists. The event was also linked to the ‘Sky for All’ educational project, supported by the City of Skopje.
