Skopje heating season scheduled to begin October 15

The official heating season for consumers connected to the central heating system in Skopje is scheduled to begin on October 15. However, according to regulations managed by AD ESM, the season may start as early as October 1 if the average outdoor temperature is forecast to be 12°C or lower, based on data from the Administration of Hydrometeorological Services.

AD ESM has urged households and property owner communities to inspect and repair internal heating installations, including radiators, valves, and pipes, to prevent leaks and ensure efficient heat distribution. Residents are advised to report completed repairs to the Consumer Care Center to facilitate uninterrupted supply.

Additionally, building managers are reminded to ensure continuous electrical power supply to heating substations and to provide technicians with necessary access to these facilities. The heating season is expected to run until April 15.
