Skopje hosts events on sustainable creativity and tea traditions
Skopje is hosting two distinct cultural and educational events focused on traditional skills and natural products. The “Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Creativity” event, organized by MATA Skopje as part of the European Craft2Grow project, is currently underway at Laboratorij. The program brings together local experts, artisans, and international guests from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria to discuss how traditional crafts can drive modern innovation, circular economy, and social entrepreneurship.
Additionally, the 11th Tea Festival is scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 1 at Skopje City Mall. Themed “The Aromatic Power of Herbs,” the festival features over 30 participants, including certified herbalists, tea masters, and producers. The event aims to connect tradition with education through workshops, panel discussions, and artistic performances, highlighting both Macedonian mountain teas and international herbal knowledge.
