Skopje hosts music documentary festival celebrating Miles Davis, Duran Duran and Kraftwerk

The 12th edition of Skopje Cinema City takes place on June 26‑27 at the Frostina cinema in the Youth Cultural Center. The program honors the centenary of Miles Davis with the documentary “Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool”, followed on June 27 by “Duran Duran: Behind the Music” and “Kraftwerk: Pop Art”. The festival opens with an exhibition by students of the Brainster academy, and the official poster was designed by Jana Andrevska. Director Nenad Georgievski said the films show how music can drive social and cultural change, while coordinator Ana Vasilevska highlighted the event’s role in connecting generations and showcasing emerging creators.
