Skopje police sanction driver for obstructing traffic

North Macedonian police have taken measures against a driver who obstructed traffic in Skopje. The individual, identified as S.A., was summoned to the police station after a video circulated on social media showing him waving a flag in the middle of the street while his Ford vehicle was parked on the road, blocking the intersection of Vasil Vojvoda Čakalarov Street.

This follows a similar incident on October 5, where another driver, N.V., was summoned for obstructing traffic at the intersection of 11-ti Oktomvri, Dame Gruev, and Filip II Makedonski streets. The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that appropriate measures were taken in both cases in accordance with the Law on Road Traffic Safety.
