Skopje public transport updates: New rail and bus schedules

Public transportation services in Skopje, North Macedonia, are undergoing significant changes effective September 1, 2026.

A railway connection between Zelenikovo and Skopje will be reinstated, featuring eight daily trips in each direction. The service will stop at Zelenikovo Novo, Oreshani, Jane Sandanski, Dracevo, and Lisice before reaching the Skopje Railway Station. Travel times between Zelenikovo and Skopje are expected to range between 24 and 28 minutes. This schedule is set to remain in effect until December 31, 2026.

Simultaneously, JSP Skopje has announced the implementation of a winter timetable for its city bus network starting September 1. Commuters are advised to check the official JSP Skopje website for updated line schedules.
