Skopje secondary schools to receive modern science laboratories

The Mayor of Skopje, Orce Gjorgjievski, has announced an ongoing initiative to equip secondary schools in the city with modern, contemporary laboratories. The project focuses on creating specialized spaces for mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology.

These new educational units are designed to move learning beyond theoretical formulas by providing students with interactive technology, digital content, and practical tools. The upgrades include interactive panels for 3D modeling and simulations, as well as new school furniture and specialized equipment tailored for 21st-century teaching methods. The goal is to allow students to verify scientific concepts through real-world models, precise measurements, and hands-on experiments.
