Skopje Summer Festival presents film, poetry, theater and graphic art events

On July 15 the 47th edition of the Skopje Summer Festival will host three main cultural programmes. At the Kino‑teka of Macedonia a screening of the film “Kajmak” directed by Milcho Manchevski begins at 20:15. The Faculty of Fine Arts will host the poetry‑music project “Poetronica” by Andreja Salpe and Oliver Mitkovski at 20:30, blending Macedonian poetic heritage with electronic sound. The Educational Cultural Centre Laboratory will stage the theatre performance “Son of Shadow” by the Independent Theatre Golden Eagle, directed by Tamara Stojanovski, also at 20:30.

In addition, the National Gallery of Macedonia will open the graphic‑art exhibition “Traces in Graphics” by Victor Semenpeev, featuring complex prints, dry‑point and serigraphy. The same evening a film “Bikini Moon” will be shown and a concert will mark the 10‑year anniversary of the National Jazz Orchestra, celebrating a decade of Macedonian jazz.
