Skopje to Conduct Aerial Mosquito Disinfection Over Next Two Days

The Municipality of Skopje announced that the next phase of its seasonal mosquito‑control program will be carried out by aerial disinfection on the upcoming two days, provided weather conditions are favourable. If conditions are unsuitable, the operation will be postponed until the first subsequent day with appropriate weather, and residents will be notified accordingly.

The city highlighted that the measures follow legal obligations under the Law on Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases and guidelines from the Center for Public Health – Skopje. Previous actions this year included aerial and ground treatments against mosquito larvae on 7 May, 11 June, 26 June, 10 July and 23 July, and adult mosquito treatments on 1–2 June, 18–20 June, 27–28 June, and 13–15 July.
