Skopje to host 2026 European Judo Cup

Skopje is set to host the European Judo Cup for seniors on September 19 and 20, 2026. According to the Judo Federation of Macedonia, over 440 judokas from more than 40 countries across four continents have already registered for the event.

Vladimir Trpanovski, president of the Judo Federation of Macedonia, stated that the number of participants exceeds expectations and is significantly higher than previous European Cups held in the city. The competition is particularly high-stakes as results will contribute to Olympic Games qualification points. Major participating delegations include athletes from Russia, Germany, and Italy, with each sending more than 50 competitors.
