Skopje to host Eurodrama General Assembly in 2026

Skopje will host the General Assembly of Eurodrama, the European network for drama and translation, from October 27 to November 1, 2026. The event marks the 25th anniversary of the Paris-based network.

Organized in partnership with Teatar Komedija – Skopje, the assembly will welcome 60 international guests from 28 countries, including playwrights, translators, directors, dramaturgs, and researchers. The program features meetings, staged readings, translation workshops, panel discussions, book promotions, and theatrical performances.

Events are scheduled to take place at Teatar Komedija, the European House – Skopje, Laboratory, and the Literatura.mk bookstore. Eurodrama aims to promote contemporary drama through translation, connecting theatrical cultures across Europe, Central Asia, and the Mediterranean.
