Skopje to restore historic flower shops

The Mayor of Skopje, Orce Gjorgjievski, has announced the restoration of flower shops operated by the public enterprise ‘Parqe dhe Gjelbërim – Rosa’. The initiative aims to bring back two specific locations: one on Ilinden Boulevard opposite the ‘Lotos’ fountain, and another near the Ministry of Economy.

Following years of neglect and degradation, reconstruction activities have begun to transform these sites into clean, pleasant, and accessible spaces for all citizens. Gjorgjievski emphasized the cultural and sentimental importance of these shops to the city's residents across generations. He also stated that the services and flowers will be offered at affordable and fair prices to ensure they remain accessible to everyone.
