Skopje waste management teams remove 675 cubic meters of illegal waste

JP Komunalna Higijena-Skopje reported that its teams collected and transported 3,200 tons of municipal waste from households and legal entities across Skopje last week. During the same period, 675 cubic meters of illegally dumped bulky and construction waste were removed from public and traffic areas across all Skopje municipalities.

The Chair Municipality saw the highest volume of illegal waste removal, with 130 cubic meters cleared from illegal landfills. Additionally, the company's eco-patrol issued 28 reports to individuals and legal entities for violating the Law on Public Cleanliness, 17 of which were issued in the Chair Municipality.

The enterprise continues to offer residents the option to dispose of bulky waste, including old furniture and electronic or electrical appliances, at the waste selection center in Karposh daily from 07:00 to 19:00 without additional fees. Residents can also request specialized vehicles for home pickup from Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 15:00, for a fee according to the company's official price list.
