Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski announced that the capital city of Skopje will receive new municipal equipment – trucks, cisterns and street sweepers – before the end of the year, after the tender process was completed. The government also confirmed the purchase of 150 electric buses for Skopje and other municipalities, with the complaints procedure still pending.

Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski reported that the Momin Potok tunnel project is 75 % finished and is scheduled to be opened by the New Year. The tunnel, which includes two kilometres of supporting walls, pedestrian and bicycle paths and five bridges, has been funded with 60 million denari. The same briefing mentioned that the expansion of the Serava bridge, the Ljubjanska bridge, work on the Boris Trajkovski boulevard and the construction of a new bridge linking Gazi Beba and the airport are also expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Mickoski praised the rapid progress made since Orce Gjorgjievski became mayor, stating that several stalled projects have now resumed and will be delivered on an accelerated timetable.
