Sékou Keïta denies fraud allegations in judicial exam
Sékou Keïta, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, appeared before the Dixinn Court of First Instance on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, to contest allegations of fraud during a judicial recruitment exam.
During the proceedings, candidate Maciré Camara testified that Keïta entered her examination room and placed a water container on her table. Keïta, acting as a supervisor for the competition, denied any fraudulent intent. He testified that he noticed a lack of water in several rooms and took the initiative to provide water and coffee to candidates and officials upon request.
Keïta explained that his actions were performed in the presence of supervisors and prison guards. He stated that he specifically brought chilled water in plastic containers to assist those who could not leave the exam rooms, including a request from a prosecutor to provide water for medication. He maintained that he had no ulterior motives and only sought to ensure the smooth running of the event.
