Sékou Koureissy Condé calls for national unity in Guinea

Dr. Sékou Koureissy Condé, president of ONASUR-E and former Minister of Security, has called for strengthened national unity and respect for institutions in Guinea. Speaking on the television program ‘Coup de Projecteur’, Condé expressed satisfaction with the recent electoral process, describing it as a significant moment for the nation.

Condé praised the wisdom and responsibility of the Guinean people for maintaining a calm and serene atmosphere during the elections. He also commended President General Mamadi Doumbouya for his vision and efforts toward social pacification, noting that these initiatives are vital for consolidating peace and stability.

To prevent future divisions, Condé urged all sectors of Guinean society to move past political differences and use the electoral outcome as a foundation for reconciliation. Additionally, he warned against the dangers of disinformation and rhetoric that could undermine social cohesion.
