Skrekas praises Health Minister Georgiadis in Trikala

During a meeting of the Trikala New Democracy regional branch, Kostas Skrekas welcomed Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, praising his political courage and his ability to handle difficult assignments. Skrekas highlighted Georgiadis’s previous work in the Ministries of Development and Labor, noting his current role in the sensitive health sector.

Skrekas also addressed the Greek economy, referencing conclusions from the Thessaloniki International Fair. He noted that while the Greek economy is flourishing and borrowing on favorable terms compared to major economies like the US, UK, France, and Italy, growth must reach struggling households. He cited Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s announcement of annual measures totaling 2.5 billion euros as evidence that growth is being directed toward citizens, contrasting the government’s responsibility with the opposition’s fiscal policies.
