Skullcandy launches Crusher 1080 ANC headphones with Bose technology

Skullcandy unveiled the Crusher 1080 ANC headphones, priced at $279.99. The new model combines the brand’s patented Crusher bass system with a suite of Bose technologies, including QuietControl adaptive noise cancellation, TrueSpatial head‑tracking audio, the WaveForm audio engine, and a six‑microphone array for call quality. The headphones feature up to 60 hours of battery life with ANC off (50 hours with ANC on) and a rapid‑charge mode that adds four hours of playback after a ten‑minute charge. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.3, LE Audio, Auracast support, multipoint pairing and auto‑pause when removed. They are offered in four colourways—black, candy, primer and cement. CEO Brian Garofalow said the partnership with Bose is intended to improve Skullcandy’s audio performance and shed its “bargain‑bin” reputation, while still delivering the haptic bass experience the brand is known for. The product is now available globally through Skullcandy’s website and retail partners.
