Sky announces new drama series Charmer starring Anthony Boyle

Sky has announced that production is underway for Charmer, a new eight-part Sky Original drama series. Filming is currently taking place at Sky Studios Elstree.

Created and written by Thomas Aspell, the series stars Anthony Boyle as Ryan, a professional seducer hired by wealthy clients to test the fidelity of their partners. The plot follows a group of Londoners in their thirties whose lives are disrupted by Ryan’s work, specifically when an assignment becomes personal and threatens his professional boundaries.

The cast includes Siena Kelly, Connor Swindells, and Sophie Wilde, alongside Sam Delich, Vivian Oparah, Neil Maskell, Karan Gill, Sophie Simnett, and Polly Walker. The series is directed by Elliot Hegarty, with additional episodes written by Melissa Bubnic, Constance Cheng, and Anna Ssemuyaba, and a second block directed by Dionne Edwards.

Produced by Working Title Television and Story Films in association with Universal Global Television and Sky Studios, the series will debut on Sky and NOW in the United Kingdom and Italy.
