Sky announces second season of 883 biographical series

Sky has announced the second season of the original series ‘Nord Sud Ovest Est – La leggendaria storia degli 883’, scheduled to premiere on October 9, 2026, on Sky and NOW. Set in 1993 during the height of the musical group 883's success, the season follows protagonists Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto as they navigate the pressures of fame and the challenge of following up a major success.

Director and producer Sydney Sibilia stated that the series is not intended to be a strictly philological biography, but rather uses the duo's journey to explore universal themes such as friendship, nostalgia, and the fear of failure. The production was filmed in various locations, including Pavia, Rome, Turin, and Almeria, Spain.

The cast features returning actors Elia Nuzzolo as Max and Matteo Oscar Giuggioli as Mauro, alongside new additions Gaia Zampighi and Rosa Barbolini.
