Sky ECC messages suggest links between Šarić clan and Serbian officials

New communications intercepted via the Sky ECC encrypted application suggest potential links between the drug trafficking clan of Darko Šarić and high-ranking Serbian officials. Reports from investigative outlets Radar and Nova S indicate that messages from 2020 contain discussions regarding judicial interference and presidential pardons.

According to the intercepted messages, individuals using aliases such as ‘Oskar’ and ‘Čvarak’ allegedly discussed influencing court decisions. One specific communication from June 2020 involves Šarić’s associate, Bojan Stanojković, relaying a promise that if judicial outcomes were unfavorable, the situation could be corrected through a presidential pardon.

Journalists suggest these aliases refer to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, former Interior Minister Nebojša Stefanović, and former BIA official Marko Parezanović. The communications also include claims regarding the financing of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), with one message mentioning a sum of 2.1 million euros, though these specific financial allegations have not been independently verified.
