Sky Elements sets two Guinness World Records with Texas drone shows

Sky Elements and Damoda America have set two Guinness World Records following a series of large-scale drone shows in Blue Ridge, Texas. Between September 27 and September 29, the companies launched a total of 71,207 drones over seven performances, surpassing the previous weekly record of 55,939.

The event included an 11,000-drone performance, which the company identified as the largest drone show ever conducted in the United States. Additionally, the team set a record for the largest aerial display of a mythical creature by using 10,183 drones to form a dragon, significantly exceeding the previous record of 2,247 drones.

To achieve these feats, crews managed the continuous recharging and relaunching of the fleet across three consecutive nights. The aerial displays featured various formations, including an eagle, a lion, Pegasus, and scenes depicting deep space, Noah’s Ark, and a black hole.
