SKY express offers 30% airfare discount for substitute teachers

SKY express has announced a 30% discount on domestic airfare for substitute teachers in Greece. This initiative, requested by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, aims to facilitate the travel of approximately 35,000 primary and secondary substitute teachers to their assigned locations across the country.

The discount applies to up to ten bookings per teacher, covering one-way or round-trip flights, whether direct or with a stopover. The offer is valid for flights scheduled up to June 30, 2027, provided the bookings are made by June 15, 2027. Eligible teachers have been sent unique discount codes via SMS.

Minister of Education Sofia Zacharaki expressed gratitude to the airline for its rapid response to the ministry's request. Gerasimos Skaltsas, Chief Commercial Officer of SKY express, stated that the company aims to support the educational community and the role teachers play in shaping the country's future.
