Sky has launched a redesigned Sky Go app specifically for Sky Glass and Sky Stream customers. This new version, listed on app stores as Sky Go (Glass / Stream), offers a user experience aligned with the streaming devices' interfaces.

Key upgrades include the ability to stream and download content in Full HD (1080p), a significant increase from the 720p limit of the legacy app. The new app allows users to sync watchlists across devices, pick up where they left off in episodes, and set recordings remotely. It also features a dedicated section for live sports.

While the new app is exclusive to Sky Glass and Sky Stream subscribers, the legacy Sky Go app remains available for customers using Sky Q and older satellite boxes. Sky Glass and Sky Stream users can expect laptop access to the redesigned app in the near future.
