Sky Sports secures exclusive South African cricket broadcasting rights

Sky Sports and Cricket South Africa have expanded their long-standing partnership through a new agreement to broadcast international cricket from South Africa. The deal grants Sky Sports and NOW exclusive rights in the United Kingdom and Ireland for the 2026/27 season, covering both men's and women's international tours.

A primary highlight of the agreement is the England men's cricket team's tour of South Africa, which includes three Test matches and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs). This marks England's first Test tour of South Africa in seven years and will be the first series under new head coach Stephen Fleming. The tour serves as preparation for the 2027 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.

The broadcasting package also includes various other international tours hosted in South Africa, such as visits from Australia, Bangladesh, and India, as well as several women's international fixtures.
