Skybound Entertainment launches Skybound Visions comic imprint

Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics have announced the launch of ‘Skybound Visions’, a new publishing imprint featuring standalone limited series. Developed in collaboration with Hasbro and Universal, the line is designed to offer new-reader-friendly stories and reimaginings of established characters.

The imprint will debut with three primary titles scheduled for early 2027. ‘Transformers: Bumblebee - Lost Planet’ is set for release on January 27, 2027. This will be followed by ‘G. I. Joe: The Island of Dr. Mindbender’ on February 2, 2027, a horror-themed series written by Karl Kerschl and illustrated by Doug Mahnke. The third title, ‘Turok: Son of Stone’, is scheduled for March 10, 2027.

An ashcan featuring character designs and previews for the new line will be available in comic shops on November 11, 2026.
