Skybound Entertainment's Energon Universe reaches 7.6 million sales
Skybound Entertainment founder Robert Kirkman has revealed that the company’s Energon Universe comic book line has achieved over 7.6 million total unit sales. The shared universe, which integrates Hasbro properties such as Transformers, G. I. Joe, Void Rivals, and M. A. S. K., has seen significant commercial success during its third year of publication.
Transformers is the primary driver of these figures, accounting for approximately 3.5 million units sold. Specifically, Transformers #1 has reached 14 printings, with a 15th printing currently in progress. Other notable sales include 206,203 copies of M. A. S. K. #1 and 127,811 copies of Transformers #25. Kirkman noted that while there was initial uncertainty regarding the reception of a shared universe for these franchises, sales have remained steady and continue to increase in certain areas.
