Casey Bloys has signed a new multiyear extension to continue his leadership role at Skydance, where he will oversee both HBO Max and Paramount+ as co-chair and chief content officer for Skydance DTC. The deal aims to demonstrate Bloys’ commitment to the newly unveiled corporate structure.

In addition to Bloys, Skydance confirmed several key leadership appointments: JB Perrette will serve as co-chair and chief business officer for Skydance TV and Skydance DTC, while George Cheeks will act as co-chair and chief content officer for Skydance TV.

As the new Skydance era begins, CEO David Ellison has expressed intentions to compete with major streaming rivals and rebuild trust with the creative community. However, the company faces the challenge of finding $6 billion in promised synergies while managing potential layoffs and consolidation across the newly merged empire.
