Skye Blakely wins women's all-around gold at World Gymnastics Championships

American gymnast Skye Blakely captured the women's all-around title at the 2026 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam, scoring 55.733 points. The 21-year-old, who previously missed the 2024 Paris Olympics due to an Achilles tendon injury, secured her first individual world title ahead of Russia's Liudmila Roshchina (silver) and China's Ke Qinqin (bronze).

Blakely concluded a highly successful week by earning four medals in total, including bronze on vault and uneven bars, and silver with the U.S. team. Her performance marks a significant comeback following previous injuries to her elbow and Achilles.

Algerian gymnast Kaylia Nemour dominated the uneven bars final, defending her world title with a score of 15.333. Nemour also secured a gold medal on the balance beam, making her a double world champion at the event. Germany's Helen Kevric earned silver on the uneven bars, while Blakely took bronze on the same apparatus.

In the men's competition, Zou Jingyuan of China defended his title on the parallel bars, and Fred Richard of the United States won gold on floor exercise.
