Skyeton expands drone operations through Estonian holding and Slovakian manufacturing
Skyeton, a developer of long-endurance unmanned aircraft, has reorganized into a European group with its holding company, Skyeton Holding AS, based in Estonia. Founded by Ukrainian engineer Oleksandr Stepura, the company utilizes Estonia’s digital administration and transparent corporate environment to attract international investors and ensure compliance with EU law.
The company has expanded its operations by launching aircraft production in eastern Slovakia near Prešov in 2024. This distributed model combines Ukrainian engineering talent with manufacturing and corporate structures within the European Union to better serve European customers and participate in EU programs.
Separately, investors at the Baltic VCA Summit have warned that Europe must address market fragmentation and limited access to growth capital to create global technology champions. Experts noted that while companies can often find smaller funding rounds within Europe, those seeking upwards of €200 million frequently must turn to the United States due to a lack of scale in the European single market.
