Skyjack expands SJ85 AJ boom manufacturing in Hungary

Skyjack, a division of Linamar Corporation, has announced the expansion of manufacturing for its SJ85 AJ rough terrain articulating boom at its facility in Orosháza, Hungary. This move is part of a localization strategy intended to shorten supply chains and better serve customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.

The SJ85 AJ is a large articulating boom featuring a platform height of 25.91 meters and a horizontal outreach of 17.07 meters. By expanding production in Hungary, Skyjack aims to replicate the manufacturing processes currently utilized by its build team in Ramos, Mexico. Skyjack President Charlie Patterson stated that the bolstered regional structure will allow the company to serve global customers more efficiently through localized product development.
