Skylark Minerals triples gold resource at Zaranou project

Skylark Minerals has significantly increased the inferred mineral resource estimate at its Zaranou gold project in Côte d’Ivoire. Following a systematic drilling campaign at the M’Basso prospect, the company reported a 228% increase in resources, bringing the total to 1.20 million ounces of contained gold across 29.0 million tonnes.

The drilling program involved 85 holes totaling 15,888 metres, defining mineralization across approximately two kilometers of strike and to a vertical depth of 200 meters. Preliminary metallurgical test work indicated an average gold extraction rate of 95% from oxide and fresh samples.

In conjunction with the resource upgrade, Skylark Minerals has entered a binding agreement to increase its project interest from 51% to 90% for US$1.2 million. This move provides the company with greater exposure to the project's growth potential. Future exploration efforts are expected to concentrate on the Zaranou Central corridor.

Separately, Eminence Minerals has entered into exclusive option agreements to acquire up to 85% interests in five gold exploration projects in Côte d’Ivoire, covering approximately 1,508 square kilometers.
