Skyline Communications expands broadcast automation and DMF adoption partnerships

Skyline Communications is expanding its technological collaborations to advance automated broadcast workflows and the adoption of Dynamic Media Facility (DMF) architectures.

In a partnership with Techex, the companies are integrating the tx darwin processing platform with the DataMiner xOps platform. This integration aims to provide media organizations with centralized visibility into service status and resource use, allowing for the automation of lifecycle actions such as deploying blueprints and scaling services to meet demand. This move supports the European Broadcasting Union’s reference architecture for software-defined media infrastructure.

Additionally, Skyline Communications and Bridge Technologies will demonstrate automated AV synchronization at IBC 2026. This demonstration will feature the VB440 probe and the DataMiner platform working together to measure audio and video delays and automatically orchestrate corrective workflows via open APIs. The collaboration also includes the use of AI-assisted development tools to create purpose-built DataMiner Apps, intended to help operations teams reduce manual effort and maintain service quality.
