Skyrim players achieve movementless completion and new TESO content announced

In the gaming community, YouTuber ymfah has completed a full playthrough of Skyrim without using any movement controls. By avoiding the left analog stick and the WASD keys, the player also prohibited the use of horses for travel. The challenge was overcome by using a specific mechanic: canceling strong attacks to force the character to move forward automatically. The run included the main story, the final boss Alduin, and the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLCs.

Separately, Zenimax is developing a new region set in Skyrim for The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO). Associate Design Director Jason Barnes stated that this new area will not follow the traditional formula used for previous TESO chapters. While the developers aim to recapture the sense of spectacle found in earlier annual releases, the new content is intended to function differently from classic TESO regions as part of a broader strategic shift for the game.
