SkyTrek Adventure Park sees summer boom near Revelstoke
SkyTrek Adventure Park, located near Revelstoke and Sicamous in British Columbia, is experiencing a surge in summer business. The park, which has operated for 18 years within a red cedar canopy by the Eagle River, recently introduced the Sky Trail.
The Sky Trail is a 50-foot-high series of wood-and-rope walkways that allows families to traverse the canopy unharnessed to a stable platform deck. Constructed using wood sourced from local windfall, the attraction has quickly become one of the park's three most popular activities.
Operations manager Jeremy Peck noted that the family-run business aims to provide a personal experience that emphasizes being in the forest. Operating from May to September, the park averages 300 activities per day, with prices starting at approximately $20.
