Skywalker Ranch structure collapse injures five men

Five men were injured on Monday morning following the collapse of scaffolding and display screens at George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in Nicasio, Marin County. The incident occurred during setup for an event at Summit Skywalker Ranch.

One victim sustained a head injury and was transported to a hospital in “very serious condition.” Another individual was trapped under LCD screens, requiring emergency responders to use airbags to lift the structure. In total, three men were taken to local hospitals for medical treatment.

Emergency response efforts included the Marin County Fire Department, San Rafael Fire Department, and the Novato Fire Department. The cause of the collapse is currently under investigation.
