SkyWorld adopts QLASSIC standards for construction quality

SkyWorld is utilizing the Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) to standardize the quality of its real estate developments. Developed by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia, QLASSIC is an assessment system based on the Malaysian Construction Industry Standard (CIS 7:2006).

The system relies on independent inspectors to ensure objectivity. Evaluations cover three primary areas: structural integrity (including concrete quality and foundation systems), architectural finishing (such as wall flatness and tiling precision), and mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.

SkyWorld aims for its projects to achieve QLASSIC scores above 80% depending on the product line. Under the scoring system, a score of 80% or higher is considered excellent, 70% to 79% is good, 60% to 69% meets requirements, and anything below 60% is considered substandard.
