Skyworth Auto debuts autonomous electric vehicles at IAA Transportation

Skyworth Auto is making its debut at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, showcasing five electric and intelligent commercial vehicles. The company is presenting a portfolio that integrates electrification with autonomous driving technology.

A primary highlight is the global premiere of the SKYWORTH Z9, an L4 autonomous pure-electric heavy truck. Designed for logistics corridors, ports, and rail yards, the Z9 features a 400 kWh LFP battery and a 610 kW dual-motor output. It is built to function within a vehicle-cloud integrated system, allowing a single operator to coordinate up to 18 autonomous vehicles.

Other vehicles on display include the G18, an L4 autonomous electric refuse compactor for urban sanitation, and the Urban Elf, an L4 autonomous robobus. The Urban Elf is a compact midibus designed for passenger transport in defined areas, featuring a low-floor construction and interior amenities such as a beverage dispenser and a robotic arm. The lineup is completed by the HONGTU V9 electric van and the HONGTU X range-extended chassis cab.
