SL Benfica reports 24 million euro net profit
SL Benfica president Rui Costa has presented the club's consolidated financial report for the 2025/26 period, which shows a net profit of approximately 24 million euros. The report is scheduled for approval by members during a general assembly on October 31.
Costa noted that the profit has bolstered the club's equity funds to nearly 60 million euros, one of the highest levels in the institution's history. He also highlighted significant growth in the club's membership base, which added over 30,000 new members, bringing the total close to the 450,000 mark. This growth has led to record-breaking annual membership fee revenues.
Looking forward, the president set a strategic goal of reaching 500 million euros in annual consolidated revenue. To achieve this, Costa emphasized the importance of the ‘Benfica District’ project, describing it as a transformative initiative designed to create recurring revenue streams and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
