Sıla Gençoğlu Delivers Humorous Duo with Konstantinos Argiros at Harbiye Concert

Turkish pop star Sıla Gençoğlu performed at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Açıkhava Tiyatrosu in Istanbul, mixing her classic hit “Sevişmeden Uyumayalım” with a new duet titled “Yanımda Uyu” alongside Greek singer Konstantinos Argiros. During the set she joked about “losing altitude” over the years and play‑fully referenced Argiros’ predominantly female audience, eliciting laughter from the crowd.

She explained that the Turkish lyrics of “Yanımda Uyu” preserve the original Greek storyline and were co‑written with close friend Gözde Kansu, veteran songwriter Sezen Aksu, and lyricist Aysuda Ülkü Zeren, who joined her on stage. Sıla also hinted at upcoming projects before concluding the concert with the beloved “Sevişmeden Uyumayalım.”
