Slack enhances remote collaboration with video and background blur features

Slack offers several features designed to enhance remote video collaboration through its Huddle and video calling functionality. Users can enable video by starting a call via the phone icon and activating the camera icon within the interface.

To improve privacy and professionalism during calls, Slack Huddle includes a background blur feature. Users can access this by selecting the "More options" button during a video call and choosing "Blur background." The tool allows for adjustable blur intensity through the settings menu to suit individual preferences.

Additional video capabilities include screen sharing for presentations and the ability to record calls for future reference or for colleagues who were unable to attend the live session.
